CEU Press and COPIM are pleased to announce that the library at Lancaster University, UK, is the latest subscriber member to Opening the Future

Lancaster is the first library to subscribe to all three packages of books: History, Political Science, and the Editors' Choice package. This means that their staff and students now have unlimited/concurrent access in perpetuity to 150 different eBooks on subjects ranging from medieval Europe, to modern East European culture, economics, literature, politics, and the fall of communism.

As with all Opening the Future members, Lancaster is increasing their online book collection with titles relevant to the university’s research and teaching needs - and at the same time, their membership fees are funding new frontlist titles in an open access format. Through the generous support of member libraries like Lancaster all over the world, CEU Press has already been able to fund three new books, due out this Autumn/Fall. You can read more about the forthcoming OA books on our progress page: ceup.openingthefuture.net/forthcoming

The Press extends a warm welcome to Lancaster University - we are very pleased to have you as members.
